Laura Boyko holds a Master of Social Work from York University, BA from the University of Guelph and is currently completing a Master of Education in Leadership at Yorkville University. She holds certificates in Community Health Leadership (Rotman-U of T), Strategic Management (McMaster), and Workplace Mental Health. Laura is a registered social worker, psychotherapist, ICF Leadership Coach, as well as a certified Psychological Health & Safety Advisor. She is currently in private practice in Durham region and sits as the Chair of the Board of her local Community Health Centre.
For 20 years Laura has worked in health care, community & social services, and postsecondary education leading teams, developing programs and executing process improvements to enhance services. She is a passionate leader who is a seasoned educator teaching courses at George Brown College, Durham College and Ontario Tech University to healthcare and social service students of the future for over 10 years.
Laura is passionate about helping others become their best selves. Leading ith impact, integrity and discovering our authentic selves is very important to Laura. She uses her skills as a leader, educator, and coach to foster growth and supports others to enhance resilience and leadership skills. As a Coach, Laura uses her multidimensional skills and varied background in leadership and human services to help you to see your strengths, strip away beliefs that no longer help you and sticky mindsets to help you reach goals whether they be personal development or professional. w Laura has worked with those who have experienced employment transitions (termination/layoff), leaders who are struggling with career satisfaction or confidence, as well as variety of life issues and professional challenges.
